We will not sell, share, or rent personal information collected on this site or through the email discussion groups and newsletters that we administer.

We may share your information with other humane organizations for specific projects, but ONLY if authorized to do so by you.


PALC'S PRIVACY POLICY

Information We Gather:

  • Personal:

    We may gather information such as your name, address, phone number, email address, etc.

    PaLC gathers information through the various discussion groups we administer through YahooGroups that you can sign up for via our website or through Yahoo Groups directly. Information is also gathered through email correspondence with PaLC, and through donations made directly to PaLC or through United Way/CFC or Network for Good (unless made anonymously.)

    This information is used solely to keep you informed of PaLC and/or other related humane organization and animal welfare activities. The information may also be shared with other humane organizations if you have specifically authorized us to do so. PaLC takes all reasonable precautions to ensure personal information disclosed to us is secure.


  • Statistical:

    We gather statistics on the usage of the PaLC website such as pages visited, movement through pages, etc. We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

    We use this statistical information to analyze our web site's usage in the effort to improve our website, making it more usable and responsive to users' needs.

PaLC's web site contains links to other sites. We do not provide these sites with your information. Please be aware that PaLC is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites or how they treat information about their users. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information.

If we decide to change our policies, we will post those changes on our home page so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
