On September 20, 2002 the United States Postal Service (USPS) issued two commemorative stamps dedicated to "Spay/Neuter" -- a part of responsible pet care, and a part of the solution towards ending the tragedy of the millions of homeless pets taken in by shelters/rescue groups each year of which millions are euthanized.
