Whether you support PaLC as a tax deductible memorial, honor gift, general donation, or as a matching gifts program directly or through your United Way (UW), Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), or Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC), or by a bequest in your will, your donation will allow us to continue our high impact, collaborative, proactive, preventative and successful programs.

Goals 2005-2006 and beyond

Goals for these years include:

  • Continued development of the American Partnership for Pets
  • Expansion of the Animal Friendly License Plate (and other state fundraising programs) resource and review
  • Research and analysis of Virginia animal welfare issues
  • Ttracking the state of the animals in the media
  • Building a strong foundation for our new team and organization..

PaLC is a 501c3 and your donations are tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.

PaLC will receive 97% of your donation through Network for Good - a non profit organizaton that enables non profit organizations such as ours to receive donations online at minimum cost. Network for Good is supported by the AOL Time Warner Foundation and AOL, Inc.; the Cisco Foundation and Cisco Systems, Inc.; and Yahoo! Inc.

Network for Good can arrange to make automatic monthly donations from your account if you wish.

What better way to honor and celebrate the special people and animals in your life than by making a donation to a worthy cause in their name. PaLC will list your special someone on our website and send a written acknowledgement within ten business days informing your honoree that you have donated to help the animals in their name. Cherish and honor the memory of a beloved family member or friend, be they finned, feathered or furred, through a memoriam donation in their name. PaLC can include a small image (as of August 2004) in remembrance of your special someone on their website, and will send a written acknowledgement to the person you designate, within ten business days of this memorial donation. An officially filed financial statement is available upon written request from the Virginia State Office of Consumer Affairs Department of Charitable Solicitations, with whom we are registered. You may also view our IRS form 990 on the Guidestar website (see below.)

Incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, PaLC is registered with the Virginia Department of Consumer Affairs, Division of Charitable Solicitations, and is also a member in good standing of the Virgina Federation of Humane Societies.
